Brandyn is 18 today. My thoughts turn to when he was born. Oh, so tiny. Just 6 lbs, 11.5 oz. and 21 inches long. Now he is 6ft. 4inches and still growing. I think some of his meals are 6 pounds. Just kidding, but it just seems wierd to be ordering Senior picts. I am putting together his graduation announcements. He is an amazing young man. He finished his Eagle Scout project and we are awating his board of review. He wants to go on a mission and then go into the Air Force. He is trying to find a job. His one true love is still basketball. Die Hard Blazer Fan!!! He is a good reader and when he tries, he can do anything. I truly love the man he is becoming. I have no baby picts scanned to show from birth to now, but will try to add that soon. So for now, Happy Birthday Son. I love you with all my heart!

I am still here

I know it has been a long time since I have posted. I wanted to post about each part of our awesome vacation, and then I had another mini-vacation in November. Then came the holidays, and then a job for me. So by the time I get home, fix dinner, get kids to and from sports/activities, help with homework, clean up the house, it is time for bed. So here are a few of my favorite photos for now.

Vacation part 3

Brandyn drove through LA rush hour on our way to San Diego.

We stopped at the Newport Beach Temple too.
We went for my cousin's wedding. The only funny thing was that it was 67 degrees and cold in San Diego while it was 100 at home. Here are some picts from the wedding.

After the luncheon, we went down to the Mormon Battalion Monument in San Diego. Here is Nathon panning for gold, and then Brandyn by the Statue.
That night we headed to Las Vegas. On the way we stopped at the Redlands Temple, and Fontana Speedway!!!
We had a lot of fun! More to come.

Vacation (part2)

Our next stop was LA.

First we visited the Temple and visitors center.

Then as we were leaving, we decided to drive down Santa Monica Blvd a little. What fun!! We were trying to find the Hollywood sign to get a better picture. We drove through Beverly Hills. Then we ended up on Hollywood Boulevard! I glanced out my window and there on the sidewalk was a STAR. It was the Osmond Family's Star!!! So I told Brandyn - who was driving- to Park!! We had a fun detour walking up and down the Hollywood walk of fame, and stopping at Mann's Chinese Theater!(where all the hand and footprints in cement are)

Vacation (round 1)

This will be a series of posts due to the MANY photos taken and places visited on our summer vacation.

First stop: Oakland. I visited my friend and her family who moved to the Bay area.

While there I visited the Oakland Temple. Haven't been there since I was 5.

The next morning when I brought the boys, you couldn't even see the temple. The fountain behind them that is not on is the one I am sitting by in the previous photo. What a difference a day makes!

Randomness

Wow, it is August already??? We have been having a busy summer as I recently alluded to. We got to see cousins from both sides of the family this summer. The ones pictured here are from the Dominican Republic. Fun times at grandma and grandpa's! Rebekah with Kami and Kari.
