Frosty

We had one day of snow! After being stuck in it and taking an hour and a half for a 15 minute drive home, the kids and I had a snowball fight. Then Rebekah and I made "Frosty". After all the cold, we came in and warmed up with cocoa.

Cousins

The Cousins were all together for Thanksgiving! Here are the Boys.

I was happy that Syd, Dave, Maddy, Jordan, and Cooper could come home for the holiday!

October 2009

In October, Rebekah turned 15, got her permit, and Cheerleading got busy for her with games to cheer at. All three kids had their fall concerts for Orchestra. They all did really well.

Also, My cousin came home from his Mission in Australia.

Wedding in Seattle

Look where I found the kitten when I only left the fridge open for a second with my back turned.

At the end of September, we went to my cousin Justin's wedding to Holly. At their reception, Rebekah and Allie had to have a dance with them. We stayed late for the song they requested to be played.View of Seattle from The Reception. It was a nice night out. I loved the view.

The day after the wedding, we went downtown on our way home. We stopped at Pike Place Market for our favorite things: Donuts and Piroshky's!!!

Beach B-day

I got to go to the beach for my birthday!!! It was 107 in Portland, and a beautiful 81 at the Oregon Coast. We started in Cannon Beach, and ended up in Oceanside. Here's a bit of our day.

Haystack Rock

We had to stop at the Tillamook Cheese Factory for ice cream and "squeaky" cheese!!!

Then is was off to Cape Mears Lighthouse and the Octopus TreeWe couldn't leave before the sun set...
A beautiful day! It got warmer as we drove home. When we left the beach it was about 67 out. When we got home at 11:30pm, it was 89 out. Way too hot!!! Glad we escaped for the day!!!
