Uncle Kracker even came out for a few songs, and I got to shake his hand. Yes, I was on the floor against the stage for an amazing up close seat!!! Loved it.

Detroit

I got to go to Detroit, Michigan the last week of July. I had so much fun with my sister and her family!!Here is Maddy and Cooper.

A Bit of Catching Up

No, I haven't blogged lately. Too much fun!!! I will catch you all up on my summer through the next few blogs. So our summer started out at the beach. I love the Oregon Coast!! We spent 5 relaxing days there with family. Then there was the family reunion at the Lake. Perfect weather, family, lake, what more could we ask for??? Here is a view from the dock in the morning.

Then I got to go see Montgomery Gentry & Toby Keith in Concert!!! So fun!!!

Rebekah went to Cheer Camp. I got to drive to Eugene,Or (U of O) to pick her up along with 6 other cheerleaders and bring them home on my birthday. Good times!

Next I flew to Detroit, Michigan to visit my sister. It was so fun to see her and play with my niece and nephews. Here is Syd with Cooper. They just adopted him. Isn't he adorable??

The Lake

Beach

Brandyn, Rebekah, and Nathon at the Beach. We had such a good time. I tried to pick out a few photos (of the 439 that I took) to show you all about our trip.Here I am with one of the many starfish we saw. We went on a day hike to Drift Creek Falls.Here are all the cousins. This is on the hike.

Here is Rebekah with her cousins: Kari, Kayli, and Kami. Even though the ocean is not very warm here in Oregon, the girls got wet every day. Often they were the only ones in the ocean.

We saw tons of starfish. We went out at low tide daily.

We spent 5 days at the Beach in Lincoln City. It was wonderful!!!

Recent Happenings

This water lily is from Camporee (overnight camp for Girl Scouts) which I attended with Rebekah and her troop - one other girl and her mom is the co-leader.

Nathon just received his Brown belt in Tae Kwon Do. This is part of his test requirements. Don't mess with him!!

First Blog

OK, I joined the blogging world today. Here is my first attempt at this. I really enjoy taking photos, and this is my favorite right now. As I get more into this I will add photos of the kids too.
